I think the students are displaying a lot of personal engagement in the piece. If they weren't engaged, the music wouldn't have the dynamic and articulation changes that they have in the piece.

Each student was ready sitting up and watching their director for their cue. They all looked at the director to see when the tempo markings changed.

The students level of personal engagement is very good. They are all in tune and know when exactly it is time for them to come in and start playing. Each student has a steady tempo and keeps the song flowing smoothly. I am amazed at how they each know when the dynamic changes and play the exact key signature.

Their level of personal engagement is very high. For one thing they all know exactly what they are doing, when to play, how to play it and how loud to play it. Considering the length of the song it must have taken lot of work and determination.

Each of the students had good posture and eye contact with the directer. Everyone was in tune and changed dynamics when they were suppose to. They all played at the right time and rested at the right time. They played the right notes and kept their tempo.

I think that the students had a very high level of engaement individually and as a whole group.
You could hear each section clearly, and they always stayed together on tempo and dynamic changes.

I believe that they put a lot of personal engagement into this. If they didn't the piece wouldn't of sounded so great.

I think the students are showing personal engagement in this piece because they follow basically what the music & conductor says. Like they follow what he conducts and seem to have a lot of attention to what he's saying.

Everyone playing this piece watched the director, as well as their music, being able to make sure they got their cues. They also all played at the same time, playing proper notes and correct dynamics. I'd say they were really engaged.

The engagemant of the studients was very high considering that they obviously had to practice for hour upon hours to get where they got in this preformance. If they hadn't practice as much as they did then it probably wouldnt have bean as breath taking and worth my time to listen to.

These student's level of personal engagement is pretty high. You can tell that they have years of practice behind them which makes each one of them very engaged in what they are playing. When the dynamics changed, the saw the director and changed the way they played. Jason S.

I think the students display huge personal engagement. I think they have personal engagement because they all seemed to know how to come in on the piece. They all seemed to be watching the conductor very closely.

Personal engagement is like the bread in a PB&J sandwich(band). With out the bread, the jelly(players) would go everywhere and the peanut butter(over all sound) wouldn't be as tasty. In this piece of music i feel like there sandwich held together very well. I'd eat it. (:
I also noted that there were skilled chefs (plays that PRACTICED!)

I think these students displayed a high level of personal engagment because the song flowed so well. Had they not had any personal engagmennt, the definatly wouldn't of played the dynamic changes so crisply. They also listened to each section, and knew exactly what volune to play at so that everyone playing could be heard.

The students are sitting with straight posture, and look up to follow the music conductor(teacher).
The students must have practiced a lot and long for them to sound so nice.

All of them were concentrating on the music during the whole piece. They also must have practiced much before their performance.

Most of the students were looking at the director ready to play and also they look at the director to see what kind of tempo they were going to play. I also think they have a good way of doing all their dinamics and how they keep the song moving.
