To me it's all three; The instruments are just trombones. I think its amazing how they make such different sounds that are distinct, yet it is still the same instrument. Awesome!
The players are another part. They don't just play to play.. I think they play with feeling and enjoy what they are doing. They also are counting on when it is time for their entrance. That is what made the video enjoyable. They knew when to come in, making the music flow evenly.
The music itself brings out the best of the trombone. It gives them different tempos and harmonies. The transitions between tempos really complimented each other.
Another thing that made this really inspiring was that they had no conductor. So they were relying on each other to keep a steady tempo. :) yayyyyy! Great jobb! Whooo;;
I say ALL 3. It's intresting that they are able to tell eachother how fast they are about to get and how slow. Also, you are able to hear the melody very well, even though there are like 3 different parts playing!
The players are able to hear eachother, so they can keep it tune. No one is like blasting the band out.
The insterments are all trombones, which means I can finally hear what it sounds like! YAY! I'm impressed by how it can be played.
The music is amazing! You are able to hear the dynamics and tempo changes.
i think the players, the instruments, and the music is what made them so good! the instruments were only tromebone so that means they have to have a whole lot of expierence to be able to get that many different pitches. and the music was a great piece of music. the people were very enthusiastic as well and that always makes people try harder.
I think it was amazing how they got to all those different shelfs with the same instrument. The thing that make this piece astonishing is that they have some trombonists playing higher note, some playing more average, and others playing low. This gives us the full band sound... with only one instrument!
I have to agree its all three, and to add to it they have good posture for the most part, and they don't even have chairs to sit on! Its also cool that theres no conducter, and overall its just a good piece of music. Mark H.
For me I think the trombones was a prety good choice for this song. But the trombones that they had seemed different from the usual ones. It was excellent. I can hardly believe them playing not taking frequent breaks between the song!
I think its a combination of all three. Its cool how its all the same instrument but it sounds so different. You could tell that there were counting alot to come in on the right beat and it sounded good.
Definitely all three! Just the fact that its only trombones makes it really different. It sounds this piece could be played by a whole band. I noticed there wasn't a conductor in the video so that must mean they rely on each other for timeing. A very wonderful piece.
I think that the fact that its just trombones makes it impressive. They are able to get a lot of different sounds from the trombone and put them all together, which makes it sound really cool.
It's the people who are playing the music and the music they are plaing for the performance. How they stay together and playing in the same tempo. Also staying in the same speed. They are amazing.
I think that what made the performance impressive was all three, the players must have worked really hard to get that good & not have any mistakes Also the music flowed together well and was played very nicely. The insterments where very well played and the insterments, I think fit well with the peice and I think that they took alot of time practicing this.
I personally think what impresses me the most about this performance is how they are all trombones and how skillfully the musicians know their instruments.
All of them play the same instrument yet still it creates more than one melody; more than one sound. The many sounds created are then blended and whipped to create and even master piece. Overall, they play in harmony. :]
i thought it was really cool that they were all trombones! they had different sounds; but not in a bad way. It sounded really amazing. i noticed they were all standing up straight too; that must have helped them with their sound too (:
i think that the music was different because it had me expecting something more, and yet it still sounded really good. I think that it was weird hearing only trombones, but they played it wonderfully even without a conductor ! It was very interesting.
whats impressive about this is the fact that everybody is playing the same instrument. It seems they really bring the best out of what a trombone can do.
Another thing is the music... the music didnt really harmonize at all but rather gave one person one thing for melody and another person a cool background part or what not.
The players... well couldnt see them too well but... they did not have a conductor...pretty awesome!
Oh and one last thing was i think i saw some people watching them...and recording...yeah I cant play well with people watching O.o
i think what makes this impressive is that throughout the whole performance they didn't squeak once. they also had great tone the whole time. i also think that just seeing the slides go in and out at different times made it seem cooler. but i don't think that the music that they played was what was impressive about the performance. i found it a little boring :/
it was good the thing that made it special was the players and the music. it looked like they just got together at any time and started playing in a lobby or somthing there was candy and soda despensser behined them. each of them were playing together and somw times playing difrent parts. over all it was cool

I think that they were great sounding because of all 3 qualities. The actual music had a weird way of intermixing the notes of the trombones to create a different sort of sound and melody. The players were fantastic they stay together the entire time, you couldn't hear each trombone differently, but each part was a whole because they played thier notes to well tother. I also give them props from how well they took the cresendos and decresendos. in the middle how soft they get and how well they decline take alot of talent. I thionk that trombones playing this piece also emphasized the emotions within the music, trombones are well heard and when they put them in here and had them decresendo it sort of was more of a decresendo then normal in your ears. And also with a trombone it is alot easier to distict sound with each note which is also why they used the instrument because then the notes would be more defined and would have more a contrast to them. All that w/o a conductor, wow. Must have practiced hard.
The instrument makes it impressive to me because we usually only hear the trombones playing easy parts or they aren't very distinct. That really stood out to me with this beacuase a rarely hear the trombones.
I thought that the players were impressive because they didn't have a conductor. And this peice was very difficult because of all of the harmony. Their tone was also very good.
The music was great because it changed all sorts of things throughout the peice. Like tempo, dynamics and the harmony of the peice.
What makes this performance so impressive? -- the cramped space and the fact that there only trombones and can play a peice standing is in itself impressive.
The players? The music itself? Somthing else? -- the music is for a place that is crampted and dark so, the music. Also i have no idea if they are even playing for a real audeance or if it's just people passing. the music also brings out the best in the trombones.
I think its all 3. The playeres did great in keeping time and they made there insturments sound like different insturments. The insturments sounded tuned and well played. And how it was just one insturment. i think it was amazing(insert hillbilly accent here). haha. i think it was really good for so little of a group.
i think what made this performance so impressive was that they made the music sound great with jest trombones. Also they played without a conductor.I would have to say the instruments , the players and the music its self all helped on making the music so impressive. The instruments made awesome sounds and the players are so good they can play without a conductor to help them. The music its self was so good that if i wasn't watching the video i wouldn't have known it was jest trombones.
I liked the song but it didn't seem any better or more impressive than our other listening assignment so nothing really made it very impressing to me other thatn it was played well but they were adults so it's not as interesting.
I think what makes them impressive is there tone and how they had no conductor. Each player had a different sound to there instrument which made it sounded like there were more than just trombones playing. Also they had no conductor. They all stayed together and no one sped up/or slowed down. They were all in tune and were listening to each other during the whole piece.
the performance is impressive because it is played by just trombone players. they all stood up. fantastic melody/harmony mix and the great crescendos contribute as well.
I think that what really makes this performance impressive would have to be the combination of all three. As for the players, they play perfectly in tune with each other. They also cresendo and decresendo well. This aspect of the performance probably impressed me the most. Also the fact that they didn't have a conductor and still stayed with each other perfectly, if they wouldn't have the piece wouldn't have worked.
Wow these trombonist are awesome! They way the blend together with higher and lower tones really gives a great feel to it. It was very impressive how they were all in sync with each other never going to fast or too slow. I hope I get that good someday.
What makes this performance so impressive it one, the instruments; the fact that they used all trombones made it interesting because, it still had dimention and different sounds even though it was the same instrument. Two, the players were very coordinated with eachother and knew the music like when to come in and rest. Three, the music was very thrilling. Mr. Terry- I think I already commented this but I don't see my comment, so I'll just comment again.
I was really impressed by the great sound the group had. They all were playing the same instrument, but you would never have guessed it. I liked how some trombones got to play the melody for once. Trombones always play the harmony so it was a nice change. I was also very impressed by the length of the song. The players played consistantly strong throughout the whole song even though it was very long. They kept their energy throughout the whole entire peice. It was impressive how they stayed together so well without a conductor and changed the dynamics well, too.
It's interesting how they played it all on about 12 trombones making such stretched sounds. personally i think it's the music more than anything else but it's the players and instruments as well who are making the sound so beutiful to listen to.
well i think that it is amazing who they all play the same instruments and how they can make the trombones sound so different and make then go like a step higher in sound and i think thats its awsome that they don't have a directore either, i thing if we work really really hard we could sound as good as they to

I think all three; The trombones created a fantastic sound together, and makes it sound like a mighty song.
The players are very good too. The players know what they were doing, and I think that just listing to it, you can hardly listen to the mistakes(I'm not saying that there are mistakes).
And the music also. They have different parts which makes it sound very cool and so does the transitions of the tempos.
I think the trombones and the players made it impressive. The players played each and every note right and they played the dynamics very well. I really like when one 2 or 3 people were playing and not the whole group. Most of the song was played with lower and more powerful notes and the trombones fit that position well.
--I already commented but it didnt show up...so I'll do it agian:)
It took me a while to realize that the entire song was played on trombones. The most impressive thing(s) about this song was the fact that I remained interested even though it was only being played by one instrument. Another impressive element was that the band conducted themselves without any percussion instruments or a conductor---thats a wow factor(:
well i think what makes this performance so impressive is the the players and how they played right in sync with each other it was great! the players were a big part of why the piece was great and the instruments sounded real good too! Also, the flow of the rhythm and tempo was great!
There all trombones which is really interesting on how yet they all sound kinda different. (even though there the same intrument just different pitches)
The players are pretty impressive o.O there playing while standing! That has got to be hard holding that large instrument.
The music I think was well written for the trombones. Like for example if a flute or something else high played the piece it might be kind of awkward sounding...
There were just trombones, and to me they some times made it sound like it was a trumpet especially the one in the back/middle i thought it sounded pretty cool but what impressed me the most was there was no conductor
i think its all three because you have to depend on the player and the instument because thay are playing the music so i dont think its the music but it could be also
I think that it was the instrument the music and musicians. The instrument because trombones are low and great sounding. The music because people had different music. The Musicians because they had such good timing and sound.
i think the players, instruments and the last 1 is it. i should've played a brass instrument but i didnt have money at the time. so im playing the clarinet. and dude i forgot to put my name on assingment #2. i said "dude they dont look like my age" or something "song was kool. hope we play that song in class. and song was good" i think...
I believe that it is all 3, because the players are able to play different notes at the same time, the instrument just being the trombone was surprising that it was able to play so many different notes, and the music played like that with all the different notes at the same time made it very impressive.
I think it is all 3.. The players are really tallented. The instruments are being played very well.. and those particular instruments were the perfect instruments for that song..
the players do because they were able to play with the right beat and becuase they were all able to make those different notes and keep going. i liked the part were the lowest note sound lie a boat blowing is horn.
I think it's the players that made this piece impressive. The music isn't that amazing when once you think of how many players there were. Even though, it was pretty cool. The players had to come in on time with no conductor. And when you look at them, they're aren't even tapping their foot or anything to keep track of time. I think that was pretty cool.
The music is played at a loud dynamic, so it brings out the trombones in a way that usually wouldn't. The music is primarily composed of trombones, so you hear nothing else but that sound. Really great piece of music and I love the sound they create!
This sounds like a battle/war song! I think the instruments make this peice more authentic, because trombone sound low, adding to the seriousness/boldness of the song
I think it's all because the instruments were all trombones but they were played differently...so it sounds nice...some trombones had different parts but were the same instruments..so that's awesome..so yea..and the people played it nicely too...they probably practiced it like a million times to be THAT perfect...lols xD...the music was wat ever started them to play..the music was creative with all trombones and stuff...with different parts...it was the music itself that sounded wonderful...

what mwakes this so impressive is the istruments because they are all trombones,i i also like this song because it all flows together
I think it is some of each, but mostly the players and the music although the trombone is a very uniqe instrument

The players are standing for some reason and that's different. Plus it's all trompones. Lastly the music sounds like that someone is going into battle

I think its all 3. The playeres did great in keeping time and they made there insturments sound like different insturments. The insturments sounded tuned and well played. I think the thing that made the performance impressive is that the instruments are all trombones.
Another way I think that the performance is impressive is that the players can play in a wide variety of pitches and sounds.

What makes this performance so impressive it one, the instruments; the fact that they used all trombones made it interesting because, it still had dimention and different sounds even though it was the same instrument. I liked how it was articulated, and the feeling put into the music itself.

well i think that it is amazing who they all play the same instruments and how they can make the trombones sound so different and make then go like a step higher in sound and i think thats its awsome that they don't have a directore either, i thing if we work really really hard we could sound as good as they to

What makes this music so impressice is that they don't have a conducter, they know when to play and the dynamics too!
I think it is the players and the music itself that makes this piece so good.

i believe the players and music because...
the players obviously practiced to make the song sound good
the music itself is impressive when written and played by people
and i don't think it would matter what instruments they play as long as they play their part right with the one they have.

I think the trombones and the players made it impressive. The players played each and every note right and they played the dynamics very well. all three. the players were proffesional, and the trombones played it well.

I think the players and instuments are making sound so well. I'm impressed that it is just trombones playing and they can mix all the sounds together.

this is Rene,I like the part when they were from a nothing to a realy good song.
that was amazing and i loved every minute of it.the rythem was fanominall. it was awsome.

They played some really good music i love that song seriously COOL SONG!! From,Daiveon
i liked it. it was cool how the same brass instrument sounds so beautiful.
Nicole W., Clarinet
its the people with the instraments that makes it speical.
To me, it was a little boring because it's just trombones. Regardless, those guys are impressive. No conductor eigther.
well i think what makes this performance so impressive is the the players and how they played right in sync with each other it was great!
the players were a big part of why the piece was great and the instruments sounded real good too! Also, the flow of the rhythm and tempo was great!

Wowzers! they sound cool ! (:
All 3 make this performance phnomonal =)
There all trombones which is really interesting on how yet they all sound kinda different. (even though there the same intrument just different pitches)
The players are pretty impressive o.O there playing while standing!
That has got to be hard holding that large instrument.
The music I think was well written for the trombones. Like for example if a flute or something else high played the piece it might be kind of awkward sounding...

all of it makes it amazing cause the instrumnets need to work the music has to be there to play and the need to be good to play

I think all three make the music sound great what makes it even more spectacular is that they are all standing up while playing.

There were just trombones, and to me they some times made it sound like it was a trumpet especially the one in the back/middle i thought it sounded pretty cool but what impressed me the most was there was no conductor

i think its all three because you have to depend on the player and the instument because thay are playing the music so i dont think its the music but it could be also
I think it's all 3!
1. The instruments themselves were like a whole different video to me, since they were played perfectly all at the same time.
2. The players knew what they were doing WITHOUT a conductor! That takes skill! =P
3. The music...The very..very...GOOD music! It sounded like it took a bunch of practice, and a lot of co-ordination.
All-In-All Great Players, Great Video, Great Music.

I think that it was the instrument the music and musicians. The instrument because trombones are low and great sounding. The music because people had different music. The Musicians because they had such good timing and sound.
I think it is all three the players were fantastic, but I love the sound of the trombone. The harder the music is the better it sounds.

I think it is the music because It really brings out the best in the player and the instrument.

I say that the instruments was made for that song and the players were good and I think that they practice alot.
i think the players, instruments and the last 1 is it.
i should've played a brass instrument but i didnt have money at the time.
so im playing the clarinet.
and dude i forgot to put my name on assingment #2.
i said "dude they dont look like my age" or something "song was kool. hope we play that song in class. and song was good" i think...

I believe that it is all 3, because the players are able to play different notes at the same time, the instrument just being the trombone was surprising that it was able to play so many different notes, and the music played like that with all the different notes at the same time made it very impressive.

I think it's all of above,
because the people are playng it, which is cool, and the instrument because it sounds AWESOME!
Great Job! :)
I think it is all 3.. The players are really tallented. The instruments are being played very well.. and those particular instruments were the perfect instruments for that song..
Tim N.
the players do because they were able to play with the right beat and becuase they were all able to make those different notes and keep going.
i liked the part were the lowest note sound lie a boat blowing is horn.

That was really loud and deep because it was all low sounding instruments and it was really cool and balanced

I think the instruments make this peice more authentic, because trombone sound low, adding to the seriousness/boldness of the song

its all three because they al have something to do with them playing
I think it's all because the instruments were all trombones but they were played differently...so it sounds nice...some trombones had different parts but were the same instruments..so that's awesome..so yea..and the people played it nicely too...they probably practiced it like a million times to be THAT perfect...lols xD...the music was wat ever started them to play..the music was creative with all trombones and stuff...with different parts...it was the music itself that sounded wonderful...
